It’s time to get your running shoes on\, gather your friends and family\, and come along to the London Interfaith Fun Run 2022! \n\n\n\nThe Fun Run is an opportunity to celebrate London’s diverse communities\, have a great day out\, and fundraise for some important causes. Held at the iconic StoneX Stadium on Bank Holiday Monday 29th August\, this unparalleled event is all about bringing people from different backgrounds together and spreading an uplifting message about how great London’s diverse faiths\, beliefs and cultures are. \n\n\n\nThis year\, there will be: \n\n\n\n1k\, 5k and 10k untimed routes which you can run\, jog\, or walk \n\n\n\nA hive of interfaith activities and encounters \n\n\n\nPerformances from a diverse range of faith and belief groups \n\n\n\nActivities for families and young people \n\n\n\nFood stalls and picnic area \n\n\n\nAnd so much more! \n\n\n\nRegistration is only £5. DESCRIPTION:Run Event –  with all faiths & beliefs for a connected London\nWhen: Monday 30th August 2021 | 9am-3pm\nWhere: StoneX Stadium\, Greenlands Lane\, Barnet\, London NW4 1RL\nWebsite: https://www.interfaithrun.org/ \nOn Monday 30th August 2021 join hundreds of people from all walks of life as they come together at the StoneX Stadium in Barnet (home of Saracens F.C.) to raise money for over 30 charities that work across religious and cultural communities\, celebrating and supporting our diverse capital. \nThe Faith & Belief Forum and Maccabi GB are delighted to be partnering for this groundbreaking event with the support of Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London’s Council on Faith\, and Dangoor Education. \nThe London Interfaith Fun Run combines health and wellbeing with cross-generational engagement and communal partnerships. It will bring together members of the community of all ages\, abilities and religious observances\, who can walk or run 1km\, 5km or 10 km routes. \nEnthusiastic participants are invited to fundraise for a range of charities supporting vital work in our capital city\, such as Faiths for the Climate\, Humanists UK\, Stand Up! Education against Discrimination\, CitySikhs\, amongst others. Find the full list here >> \nThere will also be a delicious Food Court offering a wide range of food from different cultures\, and a Charity Fair where you can visit and support all the incredible charities from London’s diverse community. There will also be an Interfaith Fun Zone and our aim is to provide a ‘summer festival vibe\,’ featuring a number of different performances as well as other interactive activities for all to enjoy. All are invited! \nThe event will be a true festival of fun\, positivity and togetherness\, something which we have all been so desperate for over the last eighteen months. \nThe Faith & Belief Forum has worked in London and beyond for over 20 years with well-established interfaith programmes including ParliaMentors\, school linking\, LGBT+Faith\, the Faith & Belief Community Awards\, and more. The overall aim is to build good relations between people of all faiths and beliefs and to create a society where difference is celebrated. \nOur partner Maccabi GB is Britain’s leading Jewish Sports\, Health and Wellbeing charity and has flourished for over 80 years.
